My friend and I pick up the keys to our apartment on Friday, and we move in on Saturday.
I AM EXCITED.
I never realized how many books I have until I had to pack them up. (So I bought a new bookcase at Ikea.) Pretty much everything but my clothes has been packed for the past couple days, though. I need to go get a couple more storage bins for those tomorrow, and then I think that'll do.
On Friday though, my dad and I have to take my car to get the transmission looked at, even after Firestone fixed an exhaust leak and broken tail lights and some other things. I can afford all this shit at the moment, but all the money I've saved seems like it's going to go pretty quick. :( I'm not sure what I'm going to do if my car conks out completely, but we'll cross that bridge when we have to push my car across it.
For now I will just deal with it because this time next week I will be out of here. :P |

Congrats! ... Is that something you say when someone get a new apartment? I really don't know what celebratory word you would use. ^^;
But it's great regardless! I'm sorry about your car. Henry (my sport caravan... yes, he's named after THAT Henry :P) had to have new tires and it was a butt-load of money. D: Cars are so expensive! Hopefully, though, it won't conk out on you!
Congrats is just fine. :) Thank ya.
Cars are currently the bane of my existence. If I'm not told that the transmission has to be replaced altogether, I'll consider it a miracle. | |
